Senior Marine Communication Specialist
Conservation International (CI) is deeply dedicated to conserving Indonesia’s remarkable marine ecosystems, which lie in the center of the world’s coral triangle-the very epicenter of marine biodiversity on the planet. During the last three years, the CI Indonesia Marine Program has been growing rapidly and includes several large-scale marine conservation initiatives, including the Bird’s Head Seascape initiative, the Sulu-Sulawesi Seascape initiative, the Nusa Penida MPA initiative in Bali and CI’s Indonesian sea turtleconservation initiative. CI aims to develop conservation in a manner that protects biodiversity, sustains fisheries, and maintains tourism potential, thereby generating considerable sustained benefits for local communities.
CI firmly believes that communication is a pivotal in all of our conservation efforts. Strong conservation outreach and education programs create the enabling environment for all conservation successes. With that understanding, the CI Indonesia Senior Marine Communication Specialist will play a critical and wide-ranging role in the development of all outreach, education, and media programs for the exciting and ambitious Indonesia marine portfolio. This position is based in Bali and may include occasional travel to CI Indonesia’s field sites and head office.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement the communication and outreach program strategies and activities related to marine conservation within CI-Indonesia, and supervise the implementation of marine conservation education program 2. Create and build the capacity of a regional network of marine communicators and educators among CI Indonesia’s staff and partners. 3. Liaise with other program staff and partners to develop appropriate communication and conservation education strategies for the marine program using participatory methodologies. 4. Design and organize awareness campaigns to reach key stakeholders with conservation messages on species, MPA, corridor, or Seascape initiatives. 5. Develop, produce and distribute appropriate communication tools and outreach materials for marine program based on strategies developed; 6. KEY ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: • Manage the operational purchasing process including ensuring adherence to company policy, code of conduct, setting procedures and controls etc. • Oversee the Sections activities to keep up to date with work issues, monitor the effectiveness of fools and techniques employed, maximize efficiencies and recommend improvements. • Review and analyse systems, projects and work undertaken by the Section to provide feedback to staff, gauge progress against goal, consistency of approach and initiate new developments, designed to support business objectives. • Analyse key suppliers their respective strengths and weaknesses and design processes to improve supply chain operation. • Liaise with overseas and local suppliers and international procurement agencies to purchase general operating materials, negotiate Forward Purchasing Agreements (FPAs), air freight and freight arrangements. • Set standard of associated cost to the service provided by service order and facilitate and assist reviews with key service order contractor to improve performance in service quality and total cost. • Maintain inventory to the lowest total cost to the Company. Analyse and recommend the best purchasing method that related with inventory management such as managing of lead time by providing accurate requirement plan. • Maintain the cataloguing process in order to provide the best information either to internal customer of supplier and support the most informative management data to Manager Supply/Management.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Tertiary qualification (S1) in Supply Management, Economy, Law or Engineering with 7 years broad experience and proven skills in purchasing and logistics management. • Financial skills to handle costing and budget responsibilities. • Negotiation, Analytical and problem solving skills. • Strong people management skills, ideally with training in supervision. • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English to produce reports and deal with a diverse range of personnel. • Computer skills in Ellipse or other computer supply systems.
Superintendent - Occupational Health & Safety Information & Management System
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: • Lead the OHS Information & Management System Section activities to ensure quality services provided to all KPC divisions, departments and contractors. • Coordinate development, review, update, and publication of KPC Prima Nirbhaya OHS Management System, standards, and requirements to ensure that the system meets OHSAS18001, legal and other relevant requirements and supports the achievement of KPC OHS goals and targets. • Manage documentations and records related to KPC PN OHS Management System to ensure security, availability and accessibility for relevant parties, traceability for audit and review purposes. • Review quality of incident and workplace/area inspection to ensure sufficient information is covered, reported and followed up within time frame. • Manage good communication and liaison with Intelex Canada and other system/software providers/suppliers for technical issues, support, maintenance, training, and necessary updates of system/software used at KPC. • Monitor Prinutama/Intelex and Statistic in relation to: frequency of usage on site, correct use and functionality, identification of technical problem, request for enhancement. • Audit use of Prinutama/Intelex, HSE Info, and Prinasa by work force and develop & implementation action plans to address weakness in its use.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum S1 in science or relevant field and minimum 7 years working in a mining environment, or D3 with minimum 10 years experience, preferably in a mining environment. Will need 3 - 4 year to become competent. • Extensive knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and SafetyManagement System, such as NOSA, OHSAS1 8001, etc. • Through knowledge of the Prima Nirbhaya OHS Management System is advantage. • Good experience in safety management system auditing. Possession of OHSAS18001 Lead Auditor certificate is an advantage. • Good mastery of English. • Good interpersonal skill for liaising with customer. • Excellent knowledge in computer skill. • Experience in developing and/or enhancing web site is an advantage. • Full System training on Prinutama/Intelex Administrator is an advantage.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: • Plan, direct and monitor the section s activities and staff in order to achieve business goals that are consistent with departmental objectives, occupational health and safety targets and PN requirements. • Liaise with contractors and KPC personnel in all divisions to facilitate a better understanding of safety, occupational health and PN requirements and oversee the monitoring of their adherence to those requirements, the identification of problem areas and recommendations on improvement strategies. • Provide advice and guidance to KPC and contractor management and safety co-ordinators on the implementation of PN occupational health and safety management systems and standards in the workplace, and ensure they are being implemented consistently across the site. • Oversee and manage specific safety initiatives and programs, improve identified shortcomings and investigate specific issues. • Ensure appropriate safety procedures and standards are in place and that Company and contractor employees are made aware of them. • Develop SWP and other safety policy used across KCP sites, socialised and monitor the implementation. Observe, analyse and develop the changes of these may be required due to the changes of the practical conditions it the field. • Identify the problems related in safety implementation at all divisions by discussing with Divisional Safety Co-ordinators. Leading in the finding the best problem solving, monitor and control the implementation. • Liaise with representative of Government, independent auditing institution, and Share Holders for safety audits and system implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS: • S1 Degree in an engineering discipline (preferably Mining Engineering). Post graduate qualifications in safety related area is an advantage. • Minimum 5 - 7 years prior experience working as an engineer, preferably in a mining environment is essential. Would require another 3 - 5 years to become competent in this position. • Extensive experience and proven skills in the Occupational Health and Safety field, preferably with exposure to the mining (ideally open cut mines) or construction industries. Knowledge/experience with OHSAS18001 is an advantage. • Well-developed written and oral communication skills to liaise with KPC personnel and various external groups. • Sound decision-making skills to address and handle a wide variety of issues. • Solid analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to influence, motivate and lead others.

III. PENDAFTARAN Pendaftaran Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil BPK-RI dilaksanakan dengan mekanisme sebagai berikut :
Mengisi Formulir Lamaran yang tersedia secara online pada website CPNS BPK-RI mulai tanggal 19 Oktober 2008 sampai dengan tanggal 25 Oktober 2008 pada website CPNS BPK-RI http://cpns.bpk.go.id untuk memperoleh bukti registrasi pendaftaran yang print out-nya harus dilampirkan bersama dengan berkas lamaran. Mengirimkan Berkas Lamaran yang dilampiri print out bukti registrasi pendaftaran dan diterima Panitia selambat-lambatnya tanggal 01 Nopember 2008 serta ditujukan kepada :
PANITIA PENERIMAAN CALON PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL BADAN PEMERIKSA KEUANGAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA PO BOX 1401 JKP 10210
Berkas Lamaran sebagaimana dimaksud pada angka 1 huruf b di atas terdiri dari : Surat Lamaran dengan ditulis tangan. Daftar Riwayat Hidup sesuai formulir yang dapat diunduh pada website CPNS BPK-RI. Pas foto terakhir ukuran 4×6 (berwarna) sebanyak 3 lembar (Bagian belakang foto ditulisi nama dan jurusan studi pelamar); Fotokopi KTP yang masih berlaku; Fotokopi ijazah (S1) atau Surat Keterangan Lulus (SKL) atau Ijazah Sementara dan transkrip nilai yang sudah dilegalisir (cap dan tanda tangan asli) oleh Dekan/Pembantu Dekan I/Direktur Program.
Fotokopi Akte Kelahiran Surat Pernyataan belum menikah dan bersedia tidak menikah yang dapat diunduh pada website CPNS BPK-RI.
Berkas Lamaran sebagaimana disebutkan pada angka 2 di atas, disusun rapi sesuai urutan di atas dimasukkan dalam map (warna bebas) dengan bagian depan map ditempeli print out bukti registrasi pendaftaran.
Berkas lamaran sebagaimana disebutkan dalam angka 3 kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam amplop warna coklat dan diberi KODE JURUSAN sesuai Kode Formasi pada kanan atas amplop.
Panitia hanya menerima lamaran yang dilampiri print out register pendaftaran dan disampaikan melalui PO BOX tersebut di atas serta tidak menerima lamaran dengan format lain.
Setiap Pelamar hanya diperkenankan mengirimkan satu berkas lamaran. Berkas lamaran yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tersebut di atas tidak akan diproses. Berkas lamaran yang diterima Panitia tidak dapat diminta kembali.
IV. TAHAPAN DAN PELAKSANAAN SELEKSI Seleksi penerimaan CPNS dilakukan dengan tahapan-tahapan sebagai berikut:
Administratif; Pengetahuan Umum, meliputi : 1). Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA); nb.Modi TPA www.gpsjakarta.com 2). English Proficiency Test ; dan 3). Tes Pengetahuan Bahasa Indonesia (TPBI); Psikotes; serta Wawancara Orientasi.
Pelamar yang telah memenuhi ketentuan pendaftaran dan persyaratan administratif akan dipanggil untuk mengikuti tahap seleksi Penerimaan CPNS berikutnya.
Setiap Pelamar yang berhak mengikuti seleksi akan diumumkan per tahap melalui website CPNS BPK-RI http://cpns.bpk.go.id
Surat panggilan untuk mengikuti ujian per tahap akan dikirim ke alamat peserta. Pelaksanaan seleksi penerimaan CPNS akan dilaksanakan secara serempak di seluruh Indonesia berdasarkan pilihan lokasi ujian sebagaimana tercantum dalam website Penerimaan CPNS BPK-RI.
Kartu Peserta Ujian (KPU) harus diambil sendiri oleh peserta ujian di kantor BPK sesuai dengan lokasi ujian dan jadwal waktu pengambilan dengan menunjukkan Surat Panggilan beserta kartu identitas diri (KTP asli) peserta.
Jadwal pengambilan Kartu Tanda Peserta Ujian akan diumumkan melalui website Penerimaan CPNS BPK-RI. Apabila peserta belum menerima surat panggilan per pos, maka pengumuman melalui website CPNS BPK-RI dapat dianggap sebagai surat panggilan setelah dilaporkan dan dinyatakan benar oleh Panitia.
Seleksi Penerimaan CPNS per tahap dilakukan dengan sistem gugur dan Keputusan kelulusan yang ditetapkan oleh Panitia tidak dapat diganggu gugat.
V. LAIN-LAIN Seleksi masuk Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil BPK-RI sama sekali tidak dipungut biaya. Berkas Lamaran yang dikirim kepada Panitia Penerimaan CPNS BPK-RI Tahun 2008/2009 sebelum pengumuman ini diterbitkan dianggap tidak berlaku dan tidak diproses untuk pelaksanaan seleksi.
Peserta yang dinyatakan lulus pada tahap terakhir dan akan diangkat menjadi CPNS BPK RI wajib menyerahkan Ijazah Asli sesuai formasi untuk disimpan pada Biro SDM BPK RI selama 4 Tahun.
Bagi mereka yang telah dinyatakan lulus pada tahap akhir seleksi dan akan diproses untuk pengusulan sebagai CPNS BPK-RI tetapi mengundurkan diri dan atau apabila selama dalam jangka waktu 4 (empat) tahun ikatan wajib kerja yang telah diperjanjikan mengundurkan diri diwajibkan membayar ganti rugi sebesar Rp 25.000.000,- (dua puluh lima juta rupiah) untuk disetorkan ke Kas Negara.
Apabila dalam jangka waktu ikatan wajib kerja tersebut, CPNS atau PNS tidak melakukan kewajibannya dan atau melarikan diri dari kewajibannya dan atau setelah diumumkannya hasil seleksi tahap akhir penerimaan CPNS BPK-RI diketahui adanya data atau ketentuan yang tidak benar, BPK-RI akan membatalkan kelulusan/proses pengusulan menjadi CPNS, memberhentikan sebagai PNS serta melakukan proses hukum sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku.

Bagi Pelamar yang telah dinyatakan diterima dan diangkat sebagai CPNS, yang bersangkutan tidak dapat menolak/menunda penempatan dengan alasan apapun.
