To identify, appraise and select suppliers/ contractors to procure and secure the best delivery, services, price, terms and conditions for sub-contracting requirements.
Administer and audit of purchasing/ logistics/ systems to meet certification guidelines.
Improve existing systems and purchasing/ logistics process and reporting to enhance work efficiency.
Aggressively reduce cost through negotiation to secure the best details for the organization.
Initiate, support and participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement programs.
Liaise with consultants/ auditors to ensure the accuracy, completeness, validity and timeliness of documentation and testing of policies and procedures.
Provide reports/ indices/ trends to management and recommendations for improvements.
Conduct mass communication of purchasing information to suppliers/ internal users.
Review and rate sub-contractor performance on a quarterly. Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
